Living Harmony Feng Shui Tutorial The goal of all feng shui is returning and maintaining the
harmoniously balanced flow of energy throughout the space; aligning vibrational
frequencies for the optimal application of Universal Creation Laws, magnetizing
abundance and the successful attainment of one’s consciously chosen
intentions. So just how do you Feng Shui your space? Feng Shui is often found to be confusing and complicated, in part
due to all the variations. Because I
live in the city I found most feng shui traditions to be almost impossible to
follow, simply because there was no way I could lift up and move my building
should it not be facing the right direction. Originally I thought that I’d not be able to use feng shui, but then I
found Black Hat Sect Feng Shui and my prayers were answered. As the tradition of feng shui was brought out into the rest of the world from ancient China, the scholars realized that not every terrain was the same. And so many versions were created, adapting the basic rules to new needs. Black Hat Sect Feng Shui works with the existing space, focusing on the originating point of energy. That means, no matter what the longitude or the direction the space is facing, we always begin with the “entrance of Chi” or usually the front door. It’s the tradition I’ve been taught in by many esteemed masters who all have been taught by the originator, Master Lin Yun. Over nearly two decades of working with feng shui both personally and professionally, just as other masters have done, I’ve come to develop my own insights, skills and areas of expertise.
The main focus of Living Harmony is in helping those who don’t readily
manifest their desires immediately with basic feng shui. Those who have dreams but are truly stuck
also have the right – and though may not feel it yet, the divinely inspired
power – to manifest their desires abundantly. Living Harmony’s unique blend of energy tools was developed to help
anyone who wishes to create with or without feng shui. But with feng shui, everything is easier! Chi is the term used for energy. The main goal of feng shui is to manage the flow of energy
consciously. That means that if a
business isn’t getting enough clients, we alter the environment to get the flow
started again. Or, if there is discord
in a marriage, we calm the energies to create peaceful harmony. Most often the changes are subtle and easy
to do. Many are astonished to find out
that other than their sessions or evaluation, there’s usually not much in the
way of cost. You may wish to get a new
plant or a crystal, but these things aren’t generally out of reach for anyone. So what’s so confusing about feng shui? Well, usually since we are coming from stuck energy in the first
place we worry that we’re not doing it right, or we may just be too blocked to
see what we need ourselves. My
favorite book is a terrific reference and a great place to start as anyone can
use it no matter how new or advanced you are, the humor with which it is
written conveys a terribly important component of manifesting: light makes right! The book, Move Your Stuff, Change Your Life written by Karen Rauch
Carter, is a delightful introduction and reference. Karen’s style is not just conversational but gives away a big
hint about what being truly feng shui’d means: she herself is light, sees abundance in everything and opportunities
abound. It’s a testimony to the work
she’s done, but also to the value of feng shui. Get your copy by clicking the image at right, then when it arrives, grab a cup of something delicious, sit
back and watch as your joy rises knowing you are about to create abundance and
prosperity in a fun and supportive way. In the meantime, this tutorial includes some basic information
about feng shui, and some of the insights that have been developed for my
Living Harmony clients along the way to successes. One need not be a trained Feng Shui expert to see and feel
it: look around you with all your
senses. Do you often clean your desk or
a certain part of the room, only to have that space filled up soon after in the
same pattern of disorganization? Are there
areas of your environment, well-decorated as they are, that you simply don’t
ever use? Do you find yourself walking
around certain areas even though it would be faster to walk through them? Or do you find your plants thriving in one
area but always dying off in another even though they are appropriately chosen
for the location? These are just some of the examples of how environmental energy
affects us. But it goes deeper, has a
far greater reach. For just as dust
gathers in corners, so too does energy stagnate in our spaces, forming
directive patterns, sticking us like glue to the experiences we wish to change
or grow. We don’t have to be passive, we can manage the effects of all of
our energies. Feng Shui can help us do
just that, all by just moving a few items around and clearing out the spaces in
between. As we clear our spaces, once
more we are able to direct our conscious intention. And we’re soon able to keep our focus on what we’ve been able to
achieve and what we’d like to create for ourselves. Suddenly all our resources more easily guide us into the
successful realization of our dreams. Think about all the wonderful things you’ve achieved to date: you should take special pride in knowing
that you can visualize your dreams and have them manifest so wonderfully. You really don’t have to be stuck at
all! The most successful people know that the only way to ultimate
success is to combine strengths and use tools. One of the biggest and most often overlooked resources we all have are
the environments we inhabit...which actually aren’t separate from us at
all. And being connected as we are,
even though we may not yet know it, harnessing the energy of our spaces provides
tremendous power and momentum carrying us ever closer to our desired creations.
Just as we can’t see the initial build-up of dust, so too are we
unaware of the slowly stagnating energy around us. The good news is that stagnant energy is easily cleared and the
results are astounding! Marriages
become loving and communicative again, finances begin to flow once more and
wellbeing in all areas improve. Best of
all, these shifts seem so easy compared to how hard we worked under our own
limited conscious power. One of the most confusing and frustrating aspects of working with
Feng Shui is what I feel are the challenges of working with what some experts
consider “musts” in terms of adjustments or what are called “cures.” Take for example the concept that one can
never use dried flowers in your home, for dried flowers are dead and convey
dead energy. Well, yes, I can assure
you having worked in the craft industry formerly there are a lot of dried
floral arrangements that convey death and bad taste and...oh, but I
digress. Okay, so here’s where I have a
problem with this concept: almost all
my furniture is wood. Um, that would be
dead wood, right? So it’s not so much
that we can’t have dead things in our space, it’s what the things convey
visually and energetically! I could have
a 150 year old antique dresser that conveys abundance and riches to me, but to
someone else it could be an old family eyesore that reminds them daily of the
painful childhood they spent at their cold grandmother’s house. It’s still dead wood, but to one person it’s
a positive vibration and to another it’s a constant reminder of pain. As the practice began so early in history, Feng Shui’s often
criticized as being rift with superstitions. But as our knowledge of quantum physics grows and our understanding of
intentional creative manifesting with Universal Laws expands we clearly see
that the original intent of those now superstitious aspects were valid and can
easily be reinterpreted for today’s needs. We can personalize various aspects according to our own
backgrounds and personal taste. Depending on your own preferences, it doesn’t really matter if you
feature an image of a Dragon or a Leprechaun as your physical reminder of your
intention to create strength and wealth, for if the visual anchors your
intention strongly then success is surely within reach. As for being complicated, most find that
with a few simple adjustments Feng Shui is incredibly intuitive, it’s actually
easier to learn how than to keep fighting against what we didn’t know was
blocking us in the first place. Regardless of which type of Feng Shui you decide to work with, the
same rules apply for all stuck energy. If you are not creating the results you want, then you simply must
address the reasons blocking you or else concede to failure. But with energy management tools such as
Aromatherapy and Emotional Freedom Technique, used in combination with fine
tuning Feng Shui adjustments, moving quickly and easily through blocks can be
so easy it will all seem like success was meant to be. And it is! One thing is certain: when
a dream comes from deep within and it seems as if nothing will make it lesson,
even in the face of repeated failures, that dream is most probably Divinely
inspired. Whatever your religious
beliefs, there are simply some dreams that we wish upon and let go, and others
that call to us until we succeed. As we
clear the blocks and manage the flow of our energies consistently toward our dreams
we’ll soon see that it’s not a random act of chance that causes our seemingly
immediate success, but rather that what we desire has been evolving toward us,
until we were ready to receive it into our present reality. As we work with Feng Shui and energy management tools, clearing away
our blocks and supporting our energies creating harmonic resonance with our
dreams, sometimes our dreams do shift around a bit. We may decide after all that we don’t want that original dream,
but a variation. Or we may choose to
tweak it bit by bit until it’s just right. Just as with true love, we’ll know when it’s right. The best part is, as we continue to manage our vibrational
frequency, no longer will we have to “dig down deep and gather up our courage”
to maintain our faith, we will simply have a deep sense of knowing, a peaceful
detachment (which is handy since we need to employ the Universal Law of
Detachment if we’re ever going to manifest our desires!) And this peaceful surety will remain with us
until the right time, the time when we realize the manifestation of our dreams
into our present reality. Living Harmony Lucky Cat Feng Shui - Bagua Explained (click here for Bagua Tutorial)
